With a heavy heart the world watches once again as terrorism has returned. We thought we were safe, we though that with the death of ISIS would could find peace. However with two different attacks in less then one week apart, one week, it’s clear as daylight. We were wrong. I’m sure you have heard about the horrific attacks in both Brazil and ChristChurch, NZ. I have a personal policy of not talking about terrorists, names or motives. While there is a time and place for talking about their motives, I don’t think this is.
I am sure many of you have seen the jaw dropping video of the ChristChurch shooting. I won’t link to it, if you want to see it, you may find it with ease. I can fondly remember, one of the scariest moments of my life was being signed out from school as young kid. My Grandma and Grandpa having to explain what a school shooting is. As we were heading to my sister’s school. It was under lock down, as a evil person said that it was going to open fire. Luckily it was just some lunatic, out of it’s mind. I can remember the joy of seeing the long line of people walking out the school. Seeing my sister hug my mother.
The reason I bring this up is purely to tell you, anyone who can see this. Call your mother, your sister, your brother, your father, your grandfather, your grandmother, your child, your friend, everyone you love. Your family, call them. Tell me you love them. You never know how long you have. I thought I had years left with grandpa Oz, turned out it was just a few hours. Thank you for reading, don’t hurt yourself, God bless.
