Well I would like to start off this post with a well and happy birthday wish to everyone born this wonderful day. Now let me talk about something that most likely has a bigger impact then any of us ever will, and makes us all depressed even more so on our birthdays. So sorry.
Now onto the world wide web, my home. The place that has given me hope, a will to live, friends, and so much. But I digress. Why do I bring this up? The world wide web is not only my home, it’s your home, America’s home.
What do I mean by this? Well in the passed 30 years of the web’s life the American way of life has been sowed into the web. The new American culture is apart of the web. If you where to remove the web, the new American culture would collapse, we would have to rebuild our whole system of beliefs, communications and so much more.
I can not remember a time where I didn’t have a PC at home. Not only that, but I was raised with tech being where I went to in times of sadness and such. I can fondly remember rushing home when I heard there was a new Yogscast’s shadow of israphel out(part 43 when?). So much of me as a person comes from the web, I am sure many folks my age would say the same. So on today, let’s raise a glass to a good friend. Cheers Queers! Thanks for reading, don’t hurt yourself, God Bless!
